• On your  Camera swipe down the main screen
• Go to Preference and select  Connections
• Now tap on Reset Connections.

Once done, the GoPro camera will create a new password. You can also change the name of the camera while pairing to the GoPro app after the reset.

2] Reset Wi-Fi Password on a GoPro HERO6 Black/ HERO5 Black/ HERO (2018)

• On your  Camera swipe down the main screen
• Go to Connect and select Reset Connections
• Now tap on Reset option

Once done, the GoPro camera will create a new password. You can also change the name of the camera while pairing to the GoPro app after the reset.

3] Reset Wi-Fi Password on a GoPro HERO5 Session

• Turn  off your camera and press the Menu button to turn on the Status Screen
• Press the Menu button constantly till you get the option Connection Settings
• Click the Shutter button to choose Connection Settings
• Now press the Menu button constantly till you get the option Reset Connections
• Press the Shutter button to choose Reset Connections
• Click on Menu button to select Yes
• Click on the Shutter button to select Yes
• Once done, the GoPro camera will create a new password.

It is worth noting that the above steps will switch back your camera to its factory settings.

4] Reset Wi-Fi Password on a GoPro HERO4 Silver & Black

• On your Camera, press and hold the settings button till you see the options WiFi Mode.
• Hold the settings button and press Power/ Mode button on the front of the camera simultaneously.
• Release the Power/ Mode button.
• In the Reset WiFi settings option, tap Reset

Once done, the GoPro camera will create a new password. You can also change the name of the camera while pairing to the GoPro app after the reset.

5] Reset Wi-Fi Password on a GoPro HERO Session /HERO4 Session

• Turn on the camera and pair the camera with the GoPro app on your device
• Launch the GoPro app on your device and go to Settings.
• Select the Camera INFO and click on the options Name

Now enter your new camera name and password. While setting the new camera name and new password ensure that it contains at least eight characters. The new password and name should not include any special characters or non-English characters. While creating a new name or password limit the characters to 0… 9, A… .Z, a… z,”-”, “@” or “_” and do not reuse the factory password.
