Lenovo Dual Mode WL Touch Mouse N700 Wireless Bluetooth Mouse & Laser Pointer

Lenovo Dual Mode WL Touch Mouse N700 Wireless Bluetooth Mouse & Laser Pointer

Looking for a wireless mouse that can work with your older PC products as well? The Lenovo Dual Mode WL Touch N700 Mouse could be the answer. It's the world's first mouse to simultaneously support Bluetooth v4.0 as well as proprietary 2.4GHz operation. This means that you can easily use it with latest Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 PCs via Bluetooth v4.0 technology, as well as with legacy products via a small proprietary 2.4GHz plug-in USB dongle.

The mouse can be paired with two separate Bluetooth v4.0 PCs (e.g. desktop/laptop), a feature that isn't even defined in the Bluetooth v4.0 specs, but Lenovo has added it to the product. On the other hand, if one of the PC doesn't natively support the aforementioned Bluetooth technology, you can still connect the mouse using proprietary 2.4GHz wireless technology. Switching between these two wireless technologies is then achieved by flipping a small switch on the under-side of the mouse.

The Lenovo N700 is also the world's first mouse that is completely optimized for the Windows 8.1 touch gesture functionality. What's more, the product also doubles as a state-of-the-art laser presenter, helping you easily navigate your presentations as well as stress on important points in the boardroom.

You can switch between mouse mode and laser presenter mode by rotating the mouse clockwise and anticlockwise.

Although the N700 is thin and light, there are some design changes due to which it may take sometime for you to get used to the mouse. For example, the mouse replaces a traditional scroll wheel with a highly sensitive touch sensitive bar that recognizes one-finger gestures.

The product is also the winner of the Red Dot design award for 2013.

All in all, it's a useful mouse that offers some cool features. To know more about the mouse, read its user guide. Alternatively, you can take a look at the following video to know more about it.

You can purchase the product directly from here. The black one costs USD 65.89, whereas the Orange one costs USD 59.99.
