There are lots of cool Windows 8 Apps in the Windows 8 Store and many are being added regularly in various categories. There are paid as well as free apps. Today I came across an app called LockPic - it's a free app using which you can quickly and easily change your Windows 8 Lock Screen image. Lock Screen is the Screen which displays various notifications when the computer is locked with a beautiful background images.While it is of more use on a Tablet or a Touch device, some Desktop users may choose to disable the Lock Screen.
By default Windows 8 provides some Lock Screen images and you can change Lock Screen from Start > Charms Bar > Settings > Change PC settings >under Personalize you'll have Lock Screen option. This LockPic app provides tons of free images for the LockScreen
Open Windows Store and it can be found under 'LifeStyle' category. Else if you are not able to locate it, open Store and open Charm bar to search 'LockPic' and there you'll have it.
Click on Install to start installing the app. Once installed you'll find the LockPic tile on the Start screen. Once you open this app, it'll provide you with its default screen with images.It also has the option to search.This also integrates with the Charms bar for searching. You can search by providing certain topics like say - flowers so that it gets you all the flower related images. Images are super cool and stunning.

Now to set any image as Lock Screen, just click on the image of your choice and it opens & provides various options (see the bottom right of the image).
You can see that you have options to Set as Lock Screen image and also has an option just to Save to Computer.
